I saw Irina Werning’s first Back to the Future series a couple of years ago and thought the idea was brilliant. The series became very popular – perhaps you have seen them. Irina takes an old photograph of someone, retouches it, reshoots the same image today, and then pairs the two. A new series of her photographs ran across my screen this morning, prompting this post.
