In September 2013 the America’s Cup sailboat competition was held San Francisco.  I didn’t plan on watching much of it but when Team USA/Oracle went down 7 or 9 to 1 and was facing elimination I started going, thinking every race could be the last. In the end it was one of the greatest sporting comebacks ever. Unfortunately the America’s Cup didn’t return to San Francisco.
